pundit Kris Boyd has criticised Liverpool FC defender Andy Robertson after his latest performance for Scotland.

The Scotland captain has been one of Liverpool FC’s most consistent players over the past two Premier League seasons.

Robertson was part of the Liverpool FC team that won the Champions League last term following a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid.
The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League under Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp.
Robertson was part of the Scotland team that suffered a 2-1 loss to Russia in their Uefa 2020 qualifier on Friday night.

And former Scotland striker Boyd believes Robertson needs to adjust his style of play when he’s lining up for his national team.
“Andy Robertson needs to realise he is playing for Scotland – he is not at Liverpool anymore,” Boyd told Sky Sports.
“You need to defend first and foremost before you can then get forward.”
Robertson moved to Liverpool FC in a £5m deal from Hull City in the 2017 summer transfer window.
The Scottish star managed to establish himself as Liverpool FC’s first-choice left-back ahead of Alberto Moreno last term.
Robertson made 11 assists in 36 games in the Premier League last term.

Liverpool FC will take on Newcastle United at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Merseyside outfit finished in second place in the Premier League table last term as Liverpool FC finished a point adrift of champions Manchester City.
